Fight Factory Wrestling returns to Point Pleasant Beach for third War on the Shore
New Jersey independent promotion Fight Factory Wrestling will stage War on the Shore 3 on July 14 near Martell's Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, marking the event's third consecutive summer run. The card features a roster of independent and nationally recognized professional wrestlers competing outdoors on the beachfront.
Among those billed to compete are Joey Janela, Jay Lethal, Steve Maclin, Richard Holliday, Lady Frost, Allie Katch, Steph De Lander, Ben Bishop, Jack Vaughn and Sent 2 Slauter. Janela and Lethal are scheduled to meet for the first time. Bishop will defend the Fight Factory Premier Championship in a match also involving Holliday and Vaughn. De Lander and Katch are both booked to face Lady Frost. The card also includes a rumble match and a tiki totem-on-a-pole stipulation match, which the promotion is using as its version of a guaranteed future championship opportunity concept. euroleague bet
Co-promoters Dave Sturchio and Chris Payne, who have been involved in the professional wrestling industry since 2012, relaunched their working partnership in 2024 through the Fight Factory Podcast before transitioning into event promotion. Their stated inspiration for a beach-based show was World Championship Wrestling's Bash at the Beach, a pay-per-view series WCW staged during the 1990s and early 2000s. The first War on the Shore, held on a Tuesday night, drew what Sturchio described as an "overwhelming" response despite early skepticism about summer attendance. Veteran performer Matt Cardona was originally booked for that debut event; he sustained a pectoral injury before the show but honored a commitment to appear in person. Sturchio said Cardona expressed surprise at the production quality for a first-year event. War on the Shore 2 followed at the same Point Pleasant Beach location in 2025.
A featured attraction for the July 14 show is the reunion of tag team The Heavenly Bodies, represented by Justin and Mark Corino, whom Sturchio said have not teamed together in seven years. Sturchio noted that the promotion is deliberately building a recurring roster rather than relying on unfamiliar one-off bookings, with the goal of developing ongoing storylines between events. He described the current card as one without a weak match on the bill, adding that he expects it to be among the most memorable nights in the promotion's short history.
