Perfect Game schedules All-American Classic for Philadelphia in 2026
Perfect Game will stage its All-American Classic at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET. The event marks the organization's first time hosting the showcase in Philadelphia, coinciding with the United States' 250th anniversary in 2026. Perfect Game CEO Rob Ponger highlighted the symbolic timing, describing it as "stars, stripes and prospects."
The All-American Classic gathers the top 60 high school baseball players in the United States. Many participants advance to first-round MLB draft selections and professional careers. Notable alumni include Philadelphia Phillies stars Bryce Harper and Zack Wheeler, Kansas City Royals' Bobby Witt Jr., Baltimore Orioles' Gunnar Henderson and New York Mets' Francisco Lindor.
Ponger emphasized Philadelphia's historical resonance. "It's also the 250th anniversary of America, right? Philadelphia, Philly, it's like stars, stripes and prospects, right? 1776 to 2026, America was born 250 years ago and the future stars of baseball are born at this event," he said. Former Phillies manager Charlie Manuel, who led the team to its 2008 World Series title and holds the franchise record for most wins, serves as honorary chairman.
The weekend includes the PG All-Star Game on Friday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. ET, and the Launch Hydrate Home Run Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 15. Ponger noted the event's potential for lasting memories amid the national milestone. "These kids are going to be making moments that will last their lifetime," he said, extending appreciation to supporting families.
